Making note is the easiest part

  • It's easy to make notes. And there are many easier ways to make notes - like Copy-pasting or Quoting.
  • What we miss while doing that is, the intention of note taking.
  • Note taking is not to collect ideas, but to develop ideas, arguments and discussions.

    Note-taking is the practice of writing down pieces of information in a systematic way. Making note is the easiest part of knowledge building, as it focuses on 'collecting ideas' while such Normal note taking fails to connect ideas.

    There are multiple note-taking methods, of which, my favorites are Outline Notes, which I found from Bullet Journaling, and then from academic people and Zettelkasten method.
